Digital ninja was probably my favorite original character for color and the head design... I'm going to be soon creating a more organic design, a final design for him now that ninja gaiden has come out, and I have a good reference. I also went and purchased shinobi for another good reference. But I'm keeping the original old style head, and incorporating the more organic body. Probably I'll start a sketch, and then follow up with a watercolor.
Just a note to everyone out there, I do not use colored pencils or paint in any of my pictures. Everything is drawn by a .5 or .2 mm mechanical pencil. Any color you see is post scan.
